Role Overview
The hotel is seeking a guest-focused Learning and Development professional.
The Assistant Learning and Development Manager manages the hotel's training function and promotes the desired work culture.
The role includes developing and conducting courses and facilitating workshops based on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze colleague development needs and prioritize them for the Learning and Development Director or Manager.
- Deliver professional training and development programs and evaluate training delivery by supervisors.
- Coordinate colleague development courses with the DHR.
- Assist with needs analysis and prepare the annual Learning and Development plan and budget.
- Maintain Learning and Development aids and order materials and stationery for the office and courses.
- Assist in selecting departmental trainers and developing them through workshops and monthly meetings.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Three years of supervisory experience in a professional training environment.
- Expertise in instructional methods and training techniques.
- Experience with needs analysis, learning theory, group and individual training, and training evaluation is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of computers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Ability to conduct and follow structured training programs in a charismatic and enthusiastic way.
- Customer service, interpersonal, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
