• Practical experience in troubleshooting across routing and switching technologies.
• Experience working as a Network Engineer in an enterprise or service provider environment is desirable

Proactively monitor network performance, capacity, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, PRTG, Juniper MIST).
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network faults across LAN, WAN, SDWAN and telecoms services while minimising service impact.
Log, manage, and progress incidents and service requests through the full lifecycle, maintaining accurate updates and detailed documentation.
Work within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely resolution and high first-time fix rates.
Perform routine network health checks and preventative maintenance activities, deploying patches, firmware updates, and minor configuration changes as required.
Produce clear incident reports, shift handovers, and technical documentation.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior engineers or external vendors where appropriate.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, remaining calm under pressure.
