About the Company
Brainotech IT Solutions provides global IT services, managed infrastructure, field engineering, and infrastructure management for distributed organizations.
Role Overview
Support hands-on deployment and migration of Cisco network infrastructure.
The project focuses on Cisco network deployment, rack-and-stack, structured cabling, wireless access point replacement, troubleshooting, and post-migration documentation.
Scope of Work
- Complete pre-migration BOM verification, equipment relocation and unboxing, dead-on-arrival checks, asset and hostname labelling, IOS upgrade assistance, basic configuration, and equipment racking.
- Install switches in designated rack positions and label and reconnect patch cords according to customer port mapping sheets.
- Install and label uplink cables, assist with troubleshooting, and remove legacy devices after Cisco approval.
- Replace legacy wireless access points with new Cisco wireless access points and install suitable anchors and fixings.
- Box and relocate legacy equipment to the designated storage area and complete post-migration documentation and quality assurance checks.
