About the Role
The Data Centre Support Technician (L1) provides technical support for network and desktop infrastructure.
The role focuses on connectivity, performance, issue resolution, service quality, uptime, and SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2-3 support for network incidents and service requests.
- Monitor network performance and identify connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic routing and switching problems.
- Manage support tickets within defined SLAs.
- Assist with network device configuration and installation.
- Support VPN connectivity and user access issues.
- Maintain incident, configuration, and resolution documentation.
- Follow support standards and procedures and escalate complex issues.
- Communicate with users, internal IT teams, vendors, and service providers.
- Provide timely updates to supervisors and stakeholders.
