Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Network Manager to oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, reliability, performance, and security of bank network infrastructure.
The role requires extensive technical knowledge of network technologies and the ability to support business operations and customer needs.
Network Design and Implementation
- Plan, design, and implement voice, data, and security network infrastructure.
- Ensure network scalability and stability to support business growth and evolving requirements.
Network Operations and Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain network performance, availability, and security.
- Manage network configurations, upgrades, and patches to ensure optimal performance.
Security and Compliance
- Supervise the configuration and setup of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and secure access protocols.
- Conduct periodic security reviews and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, including SAMA and AML/CTF requirements.
Disaster Recovery and Continuity
- Plan, design, and implement disaster recovery procedures for network infrastructure.
- Ensure backup and recovery of critical network components and services.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and administrators.
- Work with IT operations, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless network operations.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in network management, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale network environments.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong technical knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security technologies.
- Experience with network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of network security, access control, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Advanced certifications in network technologies, such as CCNP, CCIE, Juniper, or Cisco, are a plus.
