Role Overview
The Network Engineer will own the network supporting compute infrastructure at customer sites and the company's own facility.
The role supports high-density nodes and requires responsibility for the fabric feeding that infrastructure.
Role Details
- The position is full time.
- The role is part of the Field Engineering team.
- The position is located in Riyadh.
What You Will Do
- Design and deploy networking around node installations, including high-speed interconnect, management, and out-of-band access.
- Own switching, routing, segmentation, and the security posture customers will be audited against.
- Commission new sites with the field team and hand over practical documentation.
- Diagnose performance problems that appear to be compute problems but are not.
- Maintain the company laboratory and production network.
What You Need
- Five years or more of network engineering experience, including data centre work.
- Production experience with high-speed Ethernet and modern data centre topologies.
- Strong Linux networking knowledge and associated diagnostic capability.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in the Kingdom and the region.
Useful, Not Required
- Experience with RDMA, RoCE, or InfiniBand is useful but not required.
- Automation experience with Ansible, Python, or an equivalent is useful but not required.
- Relevant certification is useful but not required.
- Arabic language proficiency is useful but not required.
