Hardware nodes are assembled, filled, cabled, and burn-in tested at the company facility.
Team and location
- The role is part of the Hardware team.
- The role is based in Riyadh and requires ownership of the manufacturing floor.
What you will do
- Own build, test, and release for every node leaving the building.
- Create work instructions, fixtures, tooling, station layout, and takt from engineering design-for-manufacture handoffs.
- Own coolant fill, leak test, burn-in, and records confirming each unit passed.
- Drive yield and cycle time and lead corrective actions when either deteriorates.
- Qualify and audit suppliers and contract partners with procurement.
- Hire and train assembly and test technicians as production scales.
What you need
- Six or more years of electronics or systems manufacturing experience, including ownership of a production line or cell.
- Hands-on experience with build documentation, fixtures, first-article inspection, and process control.
- Experience with liquid-cooled, sealed, or fluid-carrying assemblies, or a strong case for learning them quickly.
- Ability to work directly with design engineers to improve designs that cannot be manufactured effectively.
- Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate.
Useful, not required
- Applied Lean or Six Sigma practice is useful but certification is not required.
- ERP or MES implementation experience in a small manufacturing operation is useful.
- Experience scaling from prototype cadence to steady volume is useful.
