- Design and implement network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks
- Provide desktop support to end users including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Implement and manage network security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and NAC
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot and support voice PABX and voice gateway
Requirements
- Strong background in both networking and desktop support
- Experience with network design and implementation
- Experience with NGFWs (Palo Alto, Cisco, Sophos)
- Knowledge of Cisco ISE and network access control
- Experience with wireless technologies and 802.1x authentication

Job Objective
- Versatile and motivated Network Engineer with strong background in networking and desktop support
- Responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure and desktop support
Network Design & Implementation
- Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions
- Perform network modelling, analysis, planning and develop technology roadmaps
- Design and implement network security strategy including cloud enablement
- Design and oversee virtual networks on premises and private cloud
- Design and maintain LANs, WANs, SDN, VPNs, wireless networks, and voice communications systems
Network Compliance
- Ensure network and infrastructure systems conform to security policies
- Create new procedures in compliance with ISO standards
- Drive network security efficiency and standards improvement
Network Security and Firewall
- Design and implement security profiles inside firewall using App IDs, User ID, content ID, etc.
- Implement and manage NGFWs (Palo Alto, Cisco, Sophos), IDS/IPS, WIPS, NAC
- Implement and monitor Cisco ISE for access control to Wi Fi, LAN, and remote VPN
Technical Support
- Provide desktop support including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Ensure high availability and reliability through monitoring and performance tuning
- Perform complex tasks on critical infrastructure upgrades and security projects
- Provide escalation point for network, routing, and security problems
Wireless Technology
- Develop wireless network infrastructures and recommend system enhancements
- Implement 802.1x authentication via NAC (Cisco ISE, ForeScout, FortiNAC)
- Use Wi Fi analyzer and survey software tools
Voice Technology
- Troubleshoot and support voice PABX and voice gateway
- Plan and implement QoS for voice traffic
Risk Management
- Analyze current risks and identify potential risks
- Report risks tailored to relevant audience
- Build risk awareness amongst team through support and training
Technology Research
- Strategic planning based on company objectives to keep in line with IT developments
- Research new technology to determine best support for organization
