Role Description
Design, implement, configure, maintain, monitor, secure, and troubleshoot organizational network infrastructure.
Ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity across LAN, WAN, wireless, data-center, cloud, and remote-access environments.
Work with IT teams, cybersecurity professionals, vendors, and business stakeholders to maintain availability and support technology requirements.
Network Infrastructure and Operations
- Manage enterprise networks, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, internet connectivity, data-center networks, and remote-access environments.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, load balancers, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance, availability, bandwidth, latency, connectivity, traffic, logs, and system health.
- Troubleshoot outages, connectivity problems, routing issues, performance issues, and hardware or configuration failures.
- Perform network installation, configuration, testing, upgrades, maintenance, optimization, and capacity planning.
Security, Resilience, and Projects
- Manage routing, switching, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPN, firewall policies, access controls, segmentation, and secure remote access.
