Role Overview
The Commercial Director develops commercial strategies, drives revenue growth, manages key customer relationships, and identifies new business opportunities.
The role leads commercial performance across sales, business development, partnerships, pricing, and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies and business plans.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Lead sales, business development, and commercial activities.
- Set commercial targets, KPIs, budgets, and performance objectives.
- Identify new markets, customers, products, and partnership opportunities.
- Manage key accounts and strategic customer relationships.
- Lead contract, pricing, proposal, and commercial negotiations.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, customer needs, and industry developments.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, finance, operations, and other departments.
- Review revenue, margins, sales pipelines, forecasts, and commercial performance.
- Develop proposals, tenders, business cases, and commercial agreements.
- Lead and develop sales and business development teams while improving commercial processes and customer retention.
