Role Description
Design, develop, test, commission, maintain, and improve electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
Work with project teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients to meet technical, safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical systems, layouts, drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Prepare electrical calculations, engineering documentation, and technical reports.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
- Inspect installations and verify compliance with approved designs and specifications.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
- Work with power distribution, lighting, cabling, switchgear, transformers, generators, and control systems.
- Identify defects, technical risks, system issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate technical requirements with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.
- Monitor project progress, materials, resources, schedules, and quality standards.
- Review technical submissions, shop drawings, material approvals, and installation methods.
- Prepare inspection reports, test records, commissioning documents, and project documentation.
