Role Overview
Senior .NET Developer / Lead Backend Developer role based in Toronto, Ontario.
Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
Lead backend development initiatives, provide technical guidance, and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
The role requires expertise in C#, .NET 10, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL Server, microservices, Azure services, and enterprise AI integration.
Work Model
- Hybrid work model requiring four days onsite and one day remote each week.
- Candidates must be comfortable working from the Toronto office four days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C#, .NET 10, and ASP.NET Core.
- Lead backend initiatives and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
- Define architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and development best practices.
- Design and implement microservices, API gateways, and distributed applications.
- Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
