Job Purpose
To develop and execute the national van sales strategy, drive revenue growth, increase market coverage, and lead regional van sales teams to achieve company sales objectives across Saudi Arabia.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement the national van sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Establish annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion and route optimization.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and motivate regional van sales managers, supervisors, and sales representatives.
- Set KPIs and performance objectives for the sales team.
- Conduct regular field visits and performance reviews.
- Build succession plans and develop talent within the organization.
Distribution & Market Coverage
- Ensure effective route-to-market execution across all regions.
- Increase outlet coverage, distribution reach, and product availability.
- Monitor van productivity, route efficiency, and customer penetration.
Customer & Channel Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and chains.
- Negotiate commercial agreements where applicable.
- Resolve major customer issues and ensure high service standards.
Financial Management
- Manage sales budgets and operating expenses.
- Monitor profitability, sales forecasts, and revenue performance.
- Ensure achievement of volume, value, and margin targets.
Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and business reviews for senior management.
- Recommend actions to improve sales effectiveness and market share.
Compliance & Operations
- Ensure adherence to company policies and Saudi regulations.
- Maintain vehicle fleet utilization and safety standards.
- Support implementation of sales automation and CRM systems.
Key Performance Indicators (Kpis)
- Sales revenue growth.
- Market share growth.
- Distribution and outlet coverage.
- Route productivity.
- Team performance against targets.
- Customer retention and satisfaction.
- Gross margin achievement.
- Collection and receivables performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 8–15 years of FMCG or van sales experience.
- At least 3–5 years in a national or senior sales leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi retail
- Willingness to travel extensively within KSA.
