Position Summary
Support hotel Sales and Marketing operations through guest service, reservations processing, revenue-focused sales techniques, and office administration.
Resolve guest requests and concerns while maintaining brand standards and positive working relationships.
Guest and Sales Support
- Contact relevant departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
- Use sales techniques and upselling to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations by phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software.
- Answer, record, and process guest calls, questions, requests, and concerns.
- Perform filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and other Sales and Marketing office duties.
Team and Quality Support
- Assist management with training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and address concerns according to company standards.
- Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
- Monitor employee performance against quality expectations and standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
