Position Summary
The Reservations Coordinator processes hotel reservation requests, changes, and cancellations.
The role is full time, non-management, and not remote.
Reservation Responsibilities
- Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room types.
- Verify availability and rates and explain guarantee, special-rate, and cancellation policies.
- Accommodate and document special requests and answer questions about property facilities and accommodations.
- Use sales techniques to maximize revenue.
- Enter reservation details, special reservation types, and rate codes in the reservation system.
- Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns.
Guest Service and Operations
- Follow company policies and maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Protect confidential information and the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
- Communicate clearly and professionally and use appropriate telephone etiquette.
- Maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
- Comply with quality-assurance expectations and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
