Role Overview
The role is for an Experiential 3D Designer working across exhibitions, events, exhibition stands, brand activations, stage designs, kiosks, and immersive environments.
The designer will transform client briefs, brand requirements, and creative concepts into 3D designs, realistic renders, layouts, and production-ready details.
The role requires creativity, technical design capability, attention to detail, and understanding of physical event and exhibition execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D concepts for exhibitions, events, brand activations, and experiential spaces.
- Design exhibition stands, booths, stages, kiosks, displays, experiential zones, and temporary event structures.
- Translate client briefs, brand guidelines, and creative ideas into 3D visual concepts.
- Produce realistic 3D renders and visual presentations for client approvals.
- Develop layouts, elevations, dimensions, and technical details required for production.
- Incorporate branding, signage, lighting, furniture, digital screens, and interactive elements.
- Develop multiple design options based on project requirements and budgets.
- Refine designs in response to client feedback and internal reviews.
- Coordinate with creative, project, production, fabrication, and installation teams.
- Ensure designs are suitable for fabrication, installation, and on-site implementation.
- Manage multiple projects and participate in client meetings and presentations.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in 3D Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Exhibition Design, Visual Design, or a related field is required.
- At least five years of experience as a 3D Designer, Exhibition Designer, Event Designer, Experiential Designer, or in a similar role is required.
- A strong portfolio covering exhibition stands, event environments, brand activations, stage designs, kiosks, branded spaces, experiential zones, and realistic renders is required.
- Strong understanding of spatial design, proportions, materials, lighting, physical execution, fabrication, and production requirements is required.
- Experience converting concepts into production-ready designs and technical details is required.
- Strong communication, presentation, attention to detail, deadline management, and project prioritization skills are required.
Technical Skills
- Relevant software includes 3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Blender, AutoCAD, V-Ray or Corona Renderer, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in events, exhibitions, advertising, marketing, experiential, or creative agencies is preferred.
- UAE-based exhibition and event experience, local production knowledge, and Arabic language skills are preferred.
Location and Work Expectations
- Candidates should be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, or be willing to relocate and work full-time in Abu Dhabi.
- The role involves multiple projects, tight deadlines, and designs intended for fabrication, installation, and on-site implementation.
