Role Overview
The employer is seeking a creative and highly skilled Experiential 3D Designer.
The role covers exhibitions, events, exhibition stands, brand activations, stage designs, kiosks, and immersive environments.
The designer will turn client briefs and creative concepts into 3D designs, realistic renders, layouts, and production-ready details.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D concepts for exhibitions, events, brand activations, and experiential spaces.
- Design exhibition stands, booths, stages, kiosks, displays, experiential zones, and temporary event structures.
- Create realistic renders, visual presentations, layouts, elevations, dimensions, and production details.
- Incorporate branding, signage, lighting, furniture, digital screens, and interactive elements into designs.
- Refine concepts from client and internal feedback and develop options within project budgets.
- Collaborate with creative, project management, production, fabrication, and installation teams.
- Ensure designs are technically feasible and suitable for fabrication, installation, and on-site implementation.
- Manage multiple projects, attend client presentations, and stay current with relevant design trends.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in 3D Design, Interior Design, Architecture, Exhibition Design, Visual Design, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in 3D, exhibition, event, or experiential design.
- A strong portfolio covering exhibition stands, event environments, brand activations, stages, kiosks, experiential zones, and realistic renders.
- Strong understanding of spatial design, proportions, materials, lighting, fabrication, and physical execution.
- Ability to create production-ready designs and technical details.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- The candidate must be based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate and work full-time there.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in relevant 3D design and visualization software.
- Relevant tools include 3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Blender, AutoCAD, V-Ray, Corona Renderer, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Key capabilities include 3D modeling, realistic rendering, spatial design, technical production design, and client communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in events, exhibitions, advertising, marketing, experiential, or creative agencies is highly preferred.
- UAE-based exhibition and event experience and knowledge of local production practices are preferred.
- Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.
- Client-facing experience and knowledge of materials, fabrication, lighting, signage, AV, and event structures are advantageous.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate understands both creative design and physical execution.
The designer should understand how concepts will be fabricated, installed, and experienced in a real event or exhibition environment.
