IDOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its Buildings team in KSA.
The role supports electrical engineering design and technical coordination across building projects.
The successful candidate will initially contribute to a major international project and support other projects as required.
Responsibilities
- Design, calculate, and coordinate electrical installations for building projects.
- Provide electrical engineering design and technical coordination support.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Work in a BIM-oriented environment to support successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least seven years of relevant experience in electrical building services projects.
- Experience with international or complex multidisciplinary building projects.
- English at C1 level or higher and professional proficiency in Arabic are mandatory.
- International mobility, flexibility, autonomy, technical rigor, and teamwork skills are required.
Technical skills
- Advanced knowledge of low-voltage systems, lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, earthing, lightning protection, cable containment, and photovoltaic installations.
- Proficiency with Excel-based calculation spreadsheets and tools such as DIALux, Caneco BT, ETAP, or PVsyst.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows and Autodesk Revit.
