Job Description Summary

  • The role of a Clinical Education Specialist is primarily to deliver and co ordinate training on GE Healthcare's products, mainly at hospital sites but also remotely using digital methods.
  • The Clinical Education Specialist owns support within the Molecular Imaging installed base.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite clinical applications training to user's equipment in given modality area.
  • Coordinate installations and initial clinical applications alongside sales, service and the Clinical Education Manager.
  • Conduct high quality application trainings at customer sites to ensure customer's safe and effective use of GE equipment.
  • Maintain satisfactory after sale relationships and development of long term customer relationships.
  • Promote unique differentiators based on customer's clinical needs, competition, values and benefits sought.
  • Continuously develop and improve a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory.
  • Support Trade show/Workshops/show sites/Customer visits.
  • Support the deployment of digital tools and embrace the digital transformation of clinical education.
  • Document trainings, site visits and Customer interactions as per the local protocol.
  • Deliver customer presentations at Classroom Education days and user events.

Required Qualifications

  • Based on a Radiographer or biomedical engineering degree you bring a significant experience in Molecular Imaging (Nuclear Medicine/PET).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including team working and good communication skills.
  • Self motivated and have the willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Team oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset.
  • Able and willing to be flexible/adapt to changing work environments.
  • Able and open to travel and be at customer sites 70 to 80% of the working time (annual average).
  • Speak and write English fluently.

Desired Characteristics

  • Post graduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Experience working with GE products.
  • Experience in conducting training in Molecular Imaging.
  • Any experience working in other modality such as CT or Xray is a bonus.
