Responsibilities
- Formulate category plans and merchandise portfolios using data analysis, product research, and industry trends.
- Develop short-term and long-term demand forecasts for cosmetics, beauty, and other product categories.
- Prepare annual planning forms for procurement direction, product launch timing, and terminal display implementation.
- Analyze UAE consumer preferences, user needs, and consumption trends to identify demand opportunities.
- Create annual, quarterly, and monthly new-product budget plans based on sales performance and forecasts.
- Select products using best-selling and slow-moving performance and full-chain product structure.
- Track new-product delivery and logistics status and establish launch schedules.
- Establish product evaluation processes, manage product lifecycles, and recommend improvements.
- Monitor sales performance, product advantages, category performance, festival sales, and store operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of demand planning or forecasting experience in cosmetics and beauty retail is mandatory.
- Advanced Excel skills are required.
- Knowledge of lead times, safety stock, replenishment, and inventory turnover is required.
