Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and sign off authority across all data centre projects in the region
- Define and maintain MEP/ELV design standards and delivery frameworks for mission critical work
- Lead technical input on major bids and proposals across the MESA region
- Build and mentor a specialist data centre team within a 400+ strong MEP/ELV practice
- Engage with clients, hyperscalers, EPCs, and authorities at Director level
- Drive innovation across BIM, parametric design, and AI assisted workflows
- Represent Egis externally as the data centre practice establishes its market presence
Requirements
- 15+ years of MEP engineering experience with significant portion in data centre or mission critical environments
- Experience at Technical Director, Associate Director, or equivalent level
- Deep expertise in data centre MEP/ELV systems
- Familiarity with Uptime Institute, TIA 942, and EN 50600
- Strong commercial awareness across fee negotiation, scope definition, and risk management
- Degree qualified with Chartered Engineer status (CEng or regional equivalent)
- GCC experience preferred; UAE track record a strong advantage

Job Description
- Egis is building its data centre capability across the UAE and wider MESA region.
- We are seeking a Technical Director to lead the technical direction of that emerging practice.

Qualifications
