Requirements
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems including:
- HVAC Systems
- Chilled Water Systems
- Ventilation Systems
- Plumbing & Drainage Systems
- Water Supply Systems
- Fire Fighting Systems
- LPG Systems (where applicable)
- Pump Rooms and Mechanical Equipment
- Review Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct inspections promptly.
- Verify compliance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Monitor installation quality and identify non-conforming works.
- Raise observations and NCRs and monitor corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Witness pressure testing, flushing, balancing, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Support review of material submittals and mechanical technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5–8 years of UAE experience in mechanical inspection and supervision.
- Mandatory experience on Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence regulated projects.
- Experience in hospitality, residential high-rise, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
Skills
- Strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting Systems.
- Knowledge of DM, DCD, and local authority inspection procedures.
- Ability to review mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
