Accountant - F&B / Multi-Outlet Operations

Role overview

Accounting and financial management

• Manage the complete accounting cycle across 10+ outlet locations.
• Maintain books of accounts, general ledger, and supporting schedules.
• Handle AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting.

Outlet and F&B financial control

• Reconcile daily outlet sales across POS, cash, credit cards, and online or delivery platforms.
• Monitor outlet revenue, costs, profitability, food cost, beverage cost, gross margins, and COGS.
• Monitor wastage, stock variances, discounts, complimentary items, voids, and operational leakage.
• Produce branch-wise Profit and Loss and performance reporting.

Procurement and inventory

• Review purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods received notes, and supplier invoices.
• Ensure PO-GRN-invoice three-way matching before payment.
• Maintain supplier accounts and prepare supplier payment schedules.
• Monitor stock movements, consumption, physical counts, inventory variances, and wastage.

Payroll, cash flow, and compliance

• Prepare or review payroll inputs, attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and employee costs.
• Monitor daily and weekly cash positions and prepare short-term cash flow forecasts.
• Manage petty cash, outlet cash controls, and bank deposit reconciliations.
• Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax calculations, reconciliations, and filings.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and professional service providers when required.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong F&B cost control, inventory, procurement, and outlet profitability knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, payroll, inventory accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Experience in multi-branch or multi-outlet finance is strongly preferred.
• Experience with accounting or ERP and POS systems is highly desirable.
• A valid UAE driving licence is an added advantage.
