About the Role

The Mentorship Manager owns the Student Guidance function, including the advisor network, supervisors, student assignment and follow-up, performance standards, and monthly advisor compensation.

The role is operational and data-driven, with guidance metrics serving as the primary management tool.

Advisor Network and Leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop a distributed network of full-time and part-time Student Advisors and supervisors.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, succession planning, supervisory spans, and network sizing.

Guidance Quality and Performance

  • Define measurable standards for student coverage, initial-contact speed, follow-up continuity, and student learning activity.
  • Manage advisor and supervisor performance evaluations and make decisions based on performance data.

Student Assignment and Activation

  • Own the student journey from partner-list receipt through assignment and active learning.
  • Define assignment rules, ensure coverage, maintain initial-contact standards, and re-engage inactive students.
  • Apply each program's definition and standard for an activated student.

Compensation and Reporting

  • Manage the monthly Student Advisor compensation cycle with Finance.
  • Design outcome-linked incentives and manage cost per activated student.
  • Prepare leadership reports and provide Student Guidance content for partner reports and review meetings.

Systems and Tools

  • Own the Student Guidance platform and operating procedures.
  • Identify operational and technology needs, collaborate with Product and Data teams, and build customized operational tools when needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 10 years of operations, program management, or field team management experience, including direct leadership of distributed or multi-site teams.
  • Experience establishing performance standards, measuring team performance, and explaining operational metrics.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills and proficiency working with raw operational data are required.
  • Proficiency with AI tools and daily use of them to build customized operational tools are required.
  • Experience leading teams with full-time and part-time employees is required.
  • Familiarity with Saudi nonprofit, education, or social development is required.
  • Native Arabic is required; professional English proficiency is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
