The Role
The employer is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Médico General to provide medical assessment, clinical guidance, diagnosis support, treatment planning, and ongoing patient care.
The position supports high-quality patient services within an international, fully remote healthcare environment.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations, assessments, history reviews, physical assessments, diagnosis support, and treatment planning.
- Evaluate acute and chronic conditions, request or review investigations, interpret results, and monitor treatment outcomes.
- Maintain complete medical records and document consultations, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, and follow-up recommendations.
- Educate patients about medications, treatment, prevention, healthy lifestyles, and disease management.
- Identify urgent conditions, arrange specialist referrals, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Professional Practice
- Follow clinical protocols, patient-safety procedures, healthcare laws, professional standards, and organizational policies.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, professional ethics, clinical integrity, and clear communication with patients and colleagues.
- Participate in clinical reviews, quality improvement, training, continuing professional development, and healthcare performance monitoring.
- Support appointment coordination, patient experience improvements, and efficient clinical services.
Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Valid medical license or eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 2–5+ years of experience in general medicine or a related clinical environment.
- Strong knowledge of medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, preventive healthcare, and chronic disease management.
- Strong clinical judgment, patient communication, documentation, medical recordkeeping, and confidentiality skills.
- Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary healthcare teams while following clinical protocols.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and digital healthcare systems.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- UAE licensing or relevant UAE clinical experience is an advantage where applicable.
- Relevant medical certifications and continuing professional development are welcome.
