Job Purpose

The Medical Training Specialist designs and delivers medical training services that meet product, regulatory, and quality specifications.

The role contributes to Group Medical Training objectives by delivering business requirements through specialist and leadership skills.

The role supports a global workforce through engaging, compliant, and effective medical learning services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver medical training using conventional and innovative approaches and adult learning methods.
  • Complete training tasks on time, maintain equipment and resources, and accurately document activities.
  • Assess learners, adapt training delivery, review feedback, and recommend improvements.
  • Develop medical training products and services with project leaders and team members.
  • Lead Group Medical Training projects covering regulations, compliance, quality, development, and delegated requirements.
  • Manage project scope, budget, performance goals, competencies, development plans, and team-member development.
  • Review regulations, implement compliance, conduct audits, document findings, and prepare audit evidence.
  • Develop guidelines, frameworks, strategies, and continuous-improvement initiatives aligned with training objectives and KPIs.

Required Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent in a medical-related field and at least 5 years of relevant medical, allied health, or paramedic services experience.
  • A certificate and/or recent instructor or trainer experience, including at least 3 years delivering Basic Life Support and First Aid instruction.
  • At least 3 years of instructional design experience.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning, Basic Life Support, first aid, and aeromedical concepts and regulations.

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Strong project management, organization, planning, and budgeting skills.
  • Strong data processing, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Experience in quality improvement, auditing, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in leadership, performance management, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Understanding of international best practices in Learning and Development and Adult Education.
