Job Description Summary

Operational Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality nursing care services focusing on complex cases.
- Assist in managing workflow ensuring proper resource utilization and providing mentorship to junior nurses.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participates in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
- Achieve and/or maintain the mandated set of activities for level 3 as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient care from admission through discharge.
- Provide nursing care and patient/family education consistent with the plan of care.
- Precept new hires and trainees during the probation training period.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and life saving situations.
- Perform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy, patient safety and comfort.
Minimum Education & Experience
- 3 years International Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
- Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 4 years of Nursing Experience including 2 years in Medical / Surgical Care or related field.
