Job Overview
- The Pediatric Nurse 2 provides direct patient care in the assigned nursing unit.
- Responsible for implementing nursing processes including adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety.
- Works under moderate supervision to deliver efficient and effective nursing care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving nursing practices.
- Participate in development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
- Pursue high staff engagement and obtain high patient experience.
- Achieve and sustain high quality of care and patient safety.
- Support empowerment of nurses through enculturation of JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model.
- Provide various nursing care services including patient management.
- Assist in routine clinical tasks and ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinicians to support smooth operations.
- Monitor patient progress and report concerns to senior staff.
- Achieve/maintain mandated activities for level 2 as outlined in Clinical Advancement Program.
- Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care.
- Provide nursing care and patient/family education consistent with plan of care.
