- Perform overhaul, replace packing and lapping on manual operated valves including globe, gate, butterfly, pressure safety/relief, and check valves
- Conduct flange management, bolting/torquing
- Perform centrifugal pump maintenance and motor pump alignment
- Execute lubrication and bearing replacement
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on various mechanical systems
- Carry out critical component replacements and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal system performance and safety
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in mechanical maintenance preferably at a nuclear power plant

Job Summary
- Mechanical Technician will execute critical maintenance activities during refuelling outages at a nuclear power plant, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities and Knowledge
- Manual Operated Valves globe valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, pressure safety / relief valves, check valves. Overhaul, replace packing and lapping;
- and/or: Flange management; bolting / torquing;
- and/or: Centrifugal pumps, motor pump alignment;
- and/or: Lubrication and bearing replacement.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on various mechanical systems
- Carry out critical component replacements and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal system performance and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in mechanical maintenance preferably at a nuclear power plant.
