Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating and static equipment in continuous operation plants
- Install, remove, fix back, and maintain pumps, blowers, compressors, fans, turbines, valves, vessels, columns, exchangers, pipes, and other static equipment
- Carry out maintenance activity independently as necessary
- Handle different types of tools and work at high elevation with safety equipment
- Check work quality and take corrective action to rectify detected faults
- Read and understand isometrics, mechanical drawings, and datasheets
- Clean, preserve, and maintain removed parts of equipment
- Record keeping in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
- Comply with HSEQ procedures and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 6 years relevant hands on experience in Mechanical Engineering in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry
- Working level proficiency in English (read, write, speak, understand)
- Familiar with hazardous chemicals/materials and safe practices
- Knowledge of PTW (permit to work) system in large scale industries
- Adherence to safety requirements

Responsibilities
- Mechanical maintenance and Troubleshooting activities in the continuous operation plants for all major types of rotating and static mechanical equipment.
- Installation, removal, fixing back and maintenance of Pumps & Blowers, compressors, fans, Turbines, all types of Valves, Vessels, Columns, Exchangers, Pipes, and other static equipment.
- Carry out maintenance activity independently as necessary. Handling different types of tools used for maintenance activities and work in high elevation with adequate safety protective equipment.
- Check work quality and take corrective action to rectify the detected faults through the work examination methods and standards.
- Thorough understanding of the Isometrics, mechanical drawings and datasheets.
- Cleaning, preserving & maintaining the removed parts of the equipment.
- Record keeping in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).
- Good HSEQ (health safety environment & quality) record in his past working.
- Read, understand, and execute the jobs as per standard operating procedure/ work instruction.
- Comply with all relevant procedures comprising of Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, Environment, Responsible Care, IFA Product Stewardship & energy Management System.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 06 years relevant and hands on experience in Mechanical Engineering in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry.
- Technicians shall have working level proficiency of Read, Write, speak and Understand competency in English language.
- Shall be well familiar with the hazardous chemicals / materials used in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry, their hazards, and safe practices to perform the Installation/Maintenance activity safely.
- Shall always adhere to the Safety requirements.
- Shall have knowledge about PTW (permit to work) system in large scale industries and shall pass COMPANY’s PTW as well as PTW acceptance authorization post training assessment tests.
- Shall understand and work within the framework of COMPANY’s Maintenance, HSEQ Policy, procedures and regulations.
