Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical engineering support for design reviews, commissioning, start up, failure analysis, and troubleshooting
- Define and document best practices and recommend performance improvement initiatives
- Develop plans and work schedules to ensure effective completion of tasks
- Provide technical input to other disciplines and functions
- Control and supervise activities of contractors, consultants, and service providers
- Guide less experienced engineers in implementing integrity and reliability systems
- Support project tie in requirements for systems under responsibility
- Maintain Issue Register and resolve critical issues including new technology risks
- Provide Management of Change technical support to assigned Assets
- Participate in Safety Workshops, Cold Eye Reviews, Value Improvement Workshops, RCFA, SBRAs, risk screening, and FRA

Job Overview
- Provide a variety of Mechanical Engineering support to contribute to division strategy and goals including design reviews, commissioning, start up, failure analysis, advanced troubleshooting and develop work packs for maintenance executed modifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and document best practices within area of expertise and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
- Develop plans and work schedules to ensure effective completion of tasks and activities, meeting section and division KPIs.
- Provide technical input related to area of expertise to other disciplines and functions as per requirements.
- Control and supervise activities undertaken by contractors, consultants and service providers.
- Guide less experienced engineers in implementing company integrity and reliability systems.
- Support and facilitate smooth completion of project tie in requirements for all systems under area of responsibility.
- Maintain Issue Register identifying and resolving critical issues including new technology risks.
- Provide Management of Change related technical support to assigned Assets (Operations).
- Active participation in Safety Workshops, Cold Eye Reviews and Value Improvement Workshops.
- Steward and participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), scenario based risk assessments (SBRAs), risk screening and Formal Risk Assessment (FRA).
