Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and powertrain issues in heavy equipment (Excavators, Loaders, Cranes, Dozers, Forklift & Dumpers)
- Perform preventive maintenance, overhauls, and breakdown repairs
- Conduct field service calls and emergency breakdown support
- Read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and schematics
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Carry out inspections and prepare service reports and job cards
- Supervise field service activities and technicians at assigned project sites
- Monitor job progress, work quality, productivity, and compliance with HSE requirements
- Coordinate spare parts requirements and ensure timely availability of materials for service jobs
- Liaise with stores, procurement, workshop, and field service teams regarding parts planning and inventory
- Support equipment commissioning, testing, and major overhaul activities
- Follow HSE policies and safe working practices at all times
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in heavy equipment service, maintenance, field operations, or spare parts coordination
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment mechanical systems
- Experience with hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and axles
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical faults
- Proficiency in MS Office and service reporting systems

Job Summary
- The Mechanical Engineer – Field Service is responsible for delivering efficient mechanical service, maintenance, and repair support for heavy equipment across workshop and field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and powertrain issues in heavy equipment (Excavators, Loaders, Cranes, Dozors, Forklift & Dumpers )
- Perform preventive maintenance, overhauls, and breakdown repairs.
- Conduct field service calls and emergency breakdown support.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in heavy equipment service, maintenance, field operations, or spare parts coordination.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment mechanical systems.
- Experience with hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and axles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical faults.
- Experience working in UAE or GCC preferred
- Strong communication and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and service reporting systems
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- UAE Driving License preferred for field based assignments
