Responsibilities
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project scope
- Prepare detailed asphalt quantity take offs and cost estimates
- Estimate production costs (bitumen, aggregates, fuel, manpower, plant & equipment)
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations for materials and transport
- Prepare commercial proposals for internal and external customers
- Calculate plant production cost (per ton/m²)
- Estimate site transportation and machinery usage
- Prepare profit & loss projections and update rates based on market changes
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, finance, and QA/QC teams
- Prepare formal quotations, pricing sheets, and tender submissions
- Maintain cost databases and track bid outcomes
- Support project teams with planning, variations, and mix design costing
