Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of mechanical systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Prepare mechanical drawings, HVAC layouts, equipment schedules, technical documentation, and engineering reports
- Support HVAC system design including chilled water, DX cooling, ventilation, and precision cooling systems
- Assist with fire protection systems design including hydrants, sprinklers, foam, and clean agent systems
- Support public health system design including water supply and drainage systems
- Perform cooling load calculations, airflow requirements, and equipment sizing
- Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, architectural, structural, and BIM teams
- Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and material specifications for compliance
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, site surveys, inspections, and field verification activities
- Support construction, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
- Maintain project documentation and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or building services design
- Experience in HVAC design and building services projects is preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, ASHRAE, NFPA, CIBSE, and relevant engineering standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with Revit, BIM workflows, HAP, or similar software is an advantage
- Understanding of cooling systems used in commercial buildings and data centers
- Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and coordination skills

Job Overview
