A client is searching for a Design Coordinator to support multidisciplinary engineering and architectural design activities for data center projects across the Middle East, Europe, and the USA.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, ICT, BIM, and specialist design disciplines throughout the project lifecycle
- Review drawings, BIM models, specifications, schedules, and technical submissions to identify coordination issues, inconsistencies, and design gaps
- Support multidisciplinary design reviews, technical workshops, and coordination meetings
- Track RFIs, technical queries, design comments, revisions, and consultant responses to ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate BIM model exchanges, clash detection, and interface management between disciplines
- Assist Design Managers and discipline leads with design planning, coordination, and project delivery
- Ensure design deliverables are complete, coordinated, and compliant with project requirements and client standards
- Support construction and site teams by resolving design related technical queries
- Maintain design coordination records, action trackers, review comments, and work closely with Document Controllers to ensure accurate documentation
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in design coordination, engineering consultancy, BIM coordination, construction, or multidisciplinary project environments
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, BIM, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent are advantageous
- Membership of recognised professional institutions (APM, CIOB, CIBSE, IET, IMechE, RIBA, or equivalent) is desirable
- BIM or Common Data Environment (CDE) certification is advantageous
- Data center project experience is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, BIM models, schedules, and multidisciplinary design documentation
- Understanding of coordination between architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, ICT, and specialist systems
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and Common Data Environment workflows
- Experience using Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Role Overview
- Our client is searching for a Design Coordinator to join a growing international organisation specialising in the design, engineering, and delivery of cloud and AI data center projects across the Middle East, Europe, and the USA.
- The candidate will support the coordination of multidisciplinary engineering and architectural design activities across complex projects.

Salary
- QAR 10,000 – 15,000 per month
