Role Overview
Develop and coordinate mechanical BIM models for UAE construction projects using Revit and Navisworks.
The role covers multiple mechanical services including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, ventilation, exhaust, and water systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, domestic water, ventilation, exhaust, and kitchen exhaust models.
- Develop plant room, pump room, and equipment room BIM models.
- Prepare coordinated BIM models, shop drawings, construction documents, and as-built documentation.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate mechanical services with electrical, architectural, and structural disciplines.
- Resolve clashes and constructability issues and incorporate consultant comments and site requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, BIM coordinators, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Maintain accurate model information, levels, families, parameters, and drawing outputs.
Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience as a mechanical BIM modeler.
- Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit and good knowledge of Navisworks and BIM coordination.
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, ventilation, and other mechanical services.
