Role Overview
Universal BIM is seeking an experienced Electrical Draughtsman with strong knowledge of electrical services for UAE construction projects.
The role is based in Dubai, UAE, and requires three to five years of relevant UAE experience.
Candidate Profile
- Three to five years of relevant UAE experience as an Electrical Draughtsman.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with lighting, power, containment, LV distribution, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, and ELV services.
- Good understanding of MEP coordination and electrical construction drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of UAE construction practices and consultant requirements.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical shop, construction, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare lighting layouts, power layouts, containment drawings, and LV distribution layouts.
- Prepare single-line diagrams, schematics, cable routing, and cable tray coordination drawings.
- Prepare earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, emergency lighting, and exit signage layouts.
- Prepare ELV system drawings for CCTV, access control, data and ICT, and SMATV.
