About the Role

- Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities
- May perform rated and/or non rated crew member duties for maintenance test flights or diagnostic operations
Requirements
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or industry equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years aviation maintenance experience
- Minimum of 3 years as Mechanic on aircraft type
- Thorough knowledge of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment
- High School Diploma

Overview
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks. Reports directly to the Supervisor for all aspects of aircraft, facility, tool and equipment, and administrative requirements.
Duties
- Assist the maintenance supervisor to accomplish the company's mission.
- Perform inspection, servicing, and repair of aircraft and equipment IAW applicable technical publications and local policies.
- Impart knowledge of duties and responsibilities to customer trainees via advice, support, and OJT training.
- Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities.
- May be requested to perform rated and/or non rated crew member duties for maintenance test flights or diagnostic equipment operation.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead.
Qualification
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or industry equivalent.
- High School Diploma. Graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance school preferred.
- Completion of military or commercial aviation corrosion prevention course preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 Years Aviation Maintenance.
- Minimum of 3 Years Mechanic on aircraft type.
- Must have thorough knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment.
