Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks
- Assist the maintenance supervisor to accomplish the company's mission
- Perform inspection, servicing, and repair of aircraft and equipment IAW applicable technical publications and local policies
- Assist in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness
- Impart knowledge of duties and responsibilities to customer's trainees through advice, support, and OJT
- Complete all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities
- May perform rated and/or non rated crew member duties for maintenance test flights or operational checks
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead
Requirements
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or industry equivalent
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 5 Years Aviation Maintenance
- Minimum of 3 Years Mechanic on aircraft type (UH 60L)
- Thorough knowledge in use of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment

Overview
- Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance tasks.
- Reports directly to the Supervisor for all aspects of aircraft, facility, tool and equipment, and administrative requirements.
Duties
- Assist the maintenance supervisor to accomplish the company's mission.
- Performs inspection, servicing, and repair of aircraft and equipment IAW applicable technical publications and local policies and procedures.
- Assists in ensuring aircraft and equipment are maintained in a high state of mission readiness.
- Impart the knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner (advice support and OJT training) to permit assimilation of the customer's trainees.
- Completes all forms, records, and documents recording aircraft maintenance activities IAW DA PAM 738 751, applicable technical publications, and local policies and procedures.
- May be requested to perform rated and/or non rated crew member duties to facilitate completion of maintenance activities such as Maintenance Test Flights, Maintenance Operational Checks, and operation of diagnostic equipment during ground and/or flight.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead.
Qualification
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate or industry equivalent.
- High School Diploma.
- Graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance or airframe repair school or course preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 Years Aviation Maintenance.
- Minimum of 3 Years Mechanic on aircraft type.
- Must have thorough knowledge in the use of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and aviation ground support equipment used in performing maintenance on the relevant aircraft.
