Materials Storekeeper position based at Al Ain Rotana.
The role manages storeroom inventory and supports timely service to hotel departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Check authorized storeroom requisitions with the Head Storekeeper.
- Prepare requested items for timely pickup by concerned departments.
- Maintain procedures and required signatories for stock issues.
- Post storeroom requisition transactions in the system.
- Receive stock according to approved orders and arrange items properly.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and functional storerooms, cold rooms, stock areas, and equipment.
- Check and record Food and Beverage expiry dates.
- Assist with inventory stocktaking.
Education and Experience
- A hospitality degree is desirable.
- Previous experience in stores, purchasing, and receiving is desirable, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Good English communication and computer literacy are essential.
- Knowledge of Opera, Micros, or FBM is an asset.
Knowledge and Competencies
- Ability to process information and merchandise through computer systems.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and pragmatic approach to work.
- Proactive, flexible, and able to maintain consistent standards.
- Customer focus, adaptability, teamwork, responsibility, and recognition of differences.
