Role Overview
Al Ain Rotana is seeking a passionate and guest-focused Housekeeping Supervisor.
The role supervises Housekeeping Attendants and supports operational objectives while maintaining hotel cleanliness and maintenance standards.
The position is based at Al Ain Rotana.
Housekeeping Operations
- Prepare job assignments and issue keys and supplies to Housekeeping Attendants.
- Review VIP, Do Not Disturb, Sleep Out and Double-Lock Room information and take appropriate action.
- Attend daily meetings, receive special instructions and receive check-outs before reporting rooms as vacant.
- Receive guest special requests and carry them out.
- Inspect cleaned areas using checklists to verify cleaning quality, room supplies and reported repairs.
- Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors and stairwells.
- Train and assist Housekeeping Attendants and advise the superior about performance.
- Assist with inventory and ensure housekeeping machines and equipment are properly handled and maintained.
- Fill out reports and hand found articles to the lost and found department.
Education and Experience
- A diploma or vocational training in hospitality is expected.
- Previous minor supervisory experience within a hotel's Housekeeping Department is required.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Computer literacy is expected; previous experience with Opera is an advantage.
