Role Overview
The Materials Specialist will manage and improve material standards, product specifications and technical compliance across DuPod's modular product portfolio.
The role collaborates with design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality and project teams.
Materials and Specifications
- Develop and maintain the approved material library, material standards and product specifications.
- Evaluate materials for performance, durability, quality, cost, availability, lead time and manufacturability.
- Prepare technical datasheets, submittals and approval logs.
- Review project specifications and approve material alternatives and substitutions.
Product and Manufacturing Support
- Support material selection and submittals with design, project management, procurement and manufacturing teams.
