Key Responsibilities
- Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
- Coordinate demand through MRP and perform make-versus-buy analysis to minimize inventory exposure.
- Coordinate product development deliverables through a Materials Core Team and matrix management.
- Create and update materials strategies for new projects and execute commercialization plans.
- Support supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, risk assessments, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Manage materials change control, cost objectives, quality issues, process indicators, and landed-cost targets.
- Identify critical and long-lead parts and support supplier road maps and should-cost analysis.
- Resolve supplier quality issues with engineering and quality teams and escalate when required.

- Demonstrate conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
