Materials Planner - 6 Months FTC

As a Material Planner at Artifex Elmdon, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials are available to support uninterrupted production and successful customer delivery.

Working closely with suppliers, production planning, scheduling, engineering and purchasing teams, you will analyse demand, manage supply requirements and maintain accurate planning data within the ERP system.

This is a fast-paced role where proactive problem solving, strong supplier relationships and attention to detail are essential.

You will help drive supply chain performance, support new product launches, manage engineering changes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

You will monitor material requirements against production schedules and customer demand, identifying shortages and working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

The role includes maintaining accurate MRP schedules, reviewing supplier schedules, managing purchase order changes and communicating demand fluctuations to suppliers.

You will oversee supplier EDI and ASN compliance, resolve shipment and ASN issues, monitor supplier performance and escalate risks where necessary.
