We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in ensuring plant, equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently. Working across both planned and reactive maintenance activities, you'll support production by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns, carrying out fault finding and repairs, and helping to minimise downtime.
You'll work with a wide range of injection moulding machinery, automation systems and supporting equipment while contributing to installation projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Working hours for this position with be varied 12-hour shifts, between 3-4 per week, alternating between days and nights (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00). This averages out to 40 hours per week.

You'll be a qualified engineer with a recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering apprenticeship and hold an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, ONC or equivalent engineering qualification. You will have strong mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical knowledge, with the ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams. Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment is essential, ideally with automation and assembly equipment. We're looking for someone who enjoys problem solving, thrives under pressure and can respond effectively to competing priorities. You'll be self-motivated, safety conscious and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Experience of plastic injection moulding machinery, Lean manufacturing techniques, robotics, overhead cranes or 18th Edition qualifications would be advantageous.
