Material Manager - EPC and Fabrication Location: Mussafah area, Abu Dhabi, UAE Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hire Work Schedule: 6 days a week (Sunday - Friday). Saturdays off. Salary: AED 25,000 - 35,000 per month total cash package + Medical Insurance for self only + Annual Flight for self only + Visa for self only + Bonus (performance based, discretionary) About the Opportunity: We are on the lookout for an experienced Materials Manager or Material Lead for an international oil and gas fabrication firm. Role: As the Lead Materials Engineer / Material Manager, you will be responsible for controlling high-value, large volume of materials (up to $100M at any one time) for the oil and gas sector. This role covers the entire material life-cycle from receiving and QC inspection to storage, inventory management, issuance to fabrication, shipping, and final reconciliation with clients. The position requires exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to handle large volumes of pipes, fittings, and related materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and control issuance to fabrication
- Oversee material flow through fabrication and shipping
- Reconcile material usage and provide detailed reports to client
Role Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in materials control or materials engineering for an oil and gas EPC company. You must come from an EPC background (not oilfield, not operator side, not OEM).
- Must have experience handling pipe, piping, spool material
- Fabrication experience is good to have
