Responsibilities
- Plan and execute fiber optic cable deployment in live oil and gas wells
- Perform fiber splicing, termination, OTDR testing, and integrity verification
- Set up, configure, and operate DAS/DTS interrogation systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot real time fiber optic data acquisition
- Conduct data quality checks and prepare client handover reports
- Support field operations, mobilization activities, and technical troubleshooting
- Interface with clients and technology vendors during project execution
Requirements
- Proven experience in fiber optic well surveillance, DFOS, DAS, or DTS operations
- Hands on expertise in fusion splicing, OTDR testing, and fiber troubleshooting
- Experience with fiber deployment through capillary tubing, coiled tubing, or wireline preferred
- Familiarity with multiple interrogator platforms and real time data acquisition systems
- Strong understanding of well intervention and live well operations
- Excellent troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills
- Offshore experience is an advantage

Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Technology Engineer to support advanced well surveillance and intervention projects involving fiber optic deployment, DAS, and DTS technologies.
