About the Employer
Transguard Workforce Solutions provides integrated HR solutions in the UAE and is recruiting this role for a client.
Job Purpose
Support engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations through timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement.
Procure materials, components, tooling, and services needed to maintain production schedules and customer commitments.
Work with planning, supply chain, quality, and operations teams to manage orders, expedite parts, and support inventory availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure engine parts, consumables, tooling, and outside services for MRO requirements.
- Create, issue, and manage purchase orders according to approved supplier, quality, and procurement procedures.
- Monitor open orders and expedite critical materials to meet maintenance schedules and turnaround targets.
- Coordinate with planning, production, stores, and engineering teams on demand, priorities, and shortages.
- Confirm supplier pricing, availability, lead times, certifications, and shipping commitments.
- Resolve purchase order discrepancies, invoice issues, damaged shipments, and supplier delivery problems.
