Role Overview
Provide therapeutic massage and physiotherapy-based treatments in a medical or rehabilitation clinic.
Support patient recovery, pain management, and mobility improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic and medical massage treatments under physiotherapy guidelines.
- Assist in rehabilitation programs for musculoskeletal, sports, and post-injury patients.
- Apply deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release techniques.
- Support physiotherapists in treatment planning and patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and DHA compliance standards.
- Educate patients on recovery exercises and preventive care.
Requirements
- Hold a DHA license or have DHA eligibility as a Massage Therapist.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification.
- Certification or training in therapeutic massage techniques is preferred.
- Have 1–3 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy, rehabilitation, and pain-management techniques.
- Have good communication and patient-handling skills.
Pay
- Pay is AED 5,000–AED 8,000 per month.
