Job Summary
Citadel Health Management Consultancy provides healthcare licensing, medical infrastructure planning, facility design, regulatory compliance, HR, quality assurance, and biomedical engineering services in the UAE.
The company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations, financial records, reporting, VAT compliance, and related finance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements, company accounts, and other financial records.
- Assist with bank and branch-related accounting operations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Prepare VAT documentation and assist with tax compliance and related filings.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursement claims.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules, and account reconciliations.
- Follow company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum one year of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and day-to-day accounting operations.
- Knowledge of banking and branch operations.
- Basic understanding of UAE VAT and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CA, CMA, or ACCA qualification, or current pursuit of one, is an added advantage.
